Conditioning Sessions for Runners

We now offer weekly conditionings sessions specifically for runners. Improve how you move, function & your overall conditioning as well as relative strength levels to help you become more resilient to injury and ultimately improve your running. 

Session are held in small groups of 4 to 6 and held as 4 to 6 week blocks. Week 1 usually includes a movement screen and some baseline strength test to identify bench markers for each individual in regards to movement and strength capabilities. Ultimately knowing this information will allow the appropriate exercises to be selected and what needs to be prioritised for you.  Once this information is identified sessions will be geared to addressing and developing any relevant limitations and indeed develop better strength levels (relevant to running). Those who continue with the sessions with subsequent blocks will see things progressed in line with where you are with your conditioning levels.

Currently we offer sessions on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime times 1 - 2pm at the gym at Valour Fitness, Rouge Rue in St Peter Port with more slots to follow but please feel free to discuss alternative times with us.
