Conditioning Sessions for RunnersWe now offer weekly conditionings sessions specifically for runners.
Improve how you move, function & your overall conditioning to help you be more resilient to injury and ultimately improve your running as a result.
Currently we offer sessions on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime times 1 - 2pm at First Contact Health in St Peter Port with more slots to follow.
Session are held in small groups of 4 to 6 and held as 5 to 6 week blocks. Week 1 will include various assessments to identify bench markers in regards to your movement and strength capabilities which will then be used to help select the appropriate exercises and areas of focus for you. After week 1 the remaining weeks are geared to addressing and developing any relevant limitations, general movement issues (which might be a red flag) and indeed develop better strength levels to enhance your overall conditioning for running. Those who continue with the sessions with subsequent blocks will enable us to progress and development things with a longer approach.
